Overview

We are looking to recruit one full or two part time Learning Support Assistants to join our hardworking, friendly team at Robertswood school. We are a popular primary school with 400 pupils aged between 3 and 11 years old. Salary Type: Bucks pay range 1, point 6-10 depending on experience

Salary details: £23,996 (full time equivalent)

Contract type: Fixed Term

About the role

The post will involve supporting of children within the class, at lunchtime (Lunchtime salary additional), on the playground and during individual and small group interventions. The post may also involve supporting an individual pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan, for some of the time

About you

The successful candidate should have:
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to raising standards with high aspirations for all children.
• An ability to work using their own initiative and be part of a team.
• Minimum requirement of GCSE English & Maths qualification.
• An ability to organise and deliver interventions, guided by therapists.
• Either experience of working with children with additional needs, or the desire to do so.

The successful applicant will be:
• Committed to working as part of a team to secure the best outcome for the children.
• Highly motivated, with experience of working with children to help remove barriers to learning.
• Enthusiastic and dynamic in their approach to supporting all children, particularly those with any learning differences.
