Nursery
Welcome to Nursery
In Nursery, we have lots of fun exploring lots of different activities.
In Nursery we plan a variety of exciting, and engaging learning opportunities for the children which cover the prime and specific areas of learning. Every child learns differently so when planning we take into account the child’s individual needs and interests and their cultural background. This information provides us with the knowledge that we need to provide them with a wide range of new experiences and opportunities to engage, inspire and broaden their horizons.
We were very excited when Ark Farm came to visit us. We were able to meet and interact with all the animals. We especially enjoyed meeting the two Donkey’s ’Tom’ and ‘Jerry’ and the cheeky goats ‘Puzzle’ and ‘Jigsaw’. We were able to hold the chickens and the rabbits and we learnt all about what they like to eat and what sort of homes that they live in.
We have had lots of fun at Forest School. We put on our welly boots so that we could go exploring. We sit on our special logs and sing the Forest School song. We have learnt how to make bird feeders and all the names of the different trees and the birds. We even got to plant our own tree in our Nursery garden.
